Bill Speidel’s Underground Tour

You will experience a 75-minute guided walking tour through the interconnecting tunnels of the Seattle Underground, a buried city entombed when Seattle rebuilt on top of itself after the Great Fire of 1889. The humorous tour begins beneath Doc Maynard's Public House with a bar on site, then explores historic Pioneer Square storefronts and subterranean sidewalks frozen in time. Tours start on the hour every day from 10 am-6 pm, with reservations available in advance by phone or at the ticket counter.
